A Unique Venue

Located in the False Creek Flats area of beautiful Vancouver, this renovated mid-1950’s locomotive maintenance building is a unique venue for your special event. This classic, vintage rail building was remodeled for use as the Rocky Mountaineer train station.

Combining a nostalgic feel with contemporary design, this bright and flexible 20,000 square foot space includes an exposed timber and brick interior, large glass windows, 35 ft vaulted ceilings, with metal beams and drive-in access through three overhead doors. All materials selected reflect the Canadian Rockies in their colour and texture while the overall design shows a flow, attention to detail and flexibility in the space so you can create your event of a lifetime.

The Station caters to large gala and corporate events, charity fundraisers, weddings, concerts, festivals, markets and other private functions.

• 12,400 sq ft of open space – North Hall 7,100 sq ft and South Hall 5,300 sq ft
• Capacity: dining – 994 guests; Reception – 1,255 guests (depending on set-up configuration)
• “T” Style design allows you to close off one section for smaller events
• Kitchen prep area (1,755 square feet) with double sink, hand washing station, coffee maker and dishwasher available for rent and drive-in access. Cooking and warming equipment required 
• Power –100A (3ph) for small events and 600V power for large events
• Access – Three overhead doors available for easy load-in access
• Over 100 parking spaces available as well as 15 bus bays
• Up to 35 ft high ceilings with exposed metal beams
• Walls are designed with exposed timber and brick, with large glass windows allowing natural light to stream into the halls
• Washrooms – full facilities available with wheelchair accessibility
• Comfortable and luxurious leather benches and chairs are available for rent
• Internet access available
