BC's own Whistler Mountaineer Train rolls out the red carpet for Canadian music stars
Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada ( March 6, 2008) - Ever dreamt of hanging out with Feist, Avril Lavigne or Michael Bublé? This could very well happen onboard the Whistler Mountaineer train, which is one of a few BC items to be included in this year's coveted JUNO Awards gift bag. The "swag" bag is given to the host, presenters, and performers at the 2008 JUNO Awards, which is held in Calgary, Alberta on Sunday, April 6, 2008. The JUNO Awards, Canada's preeminent music awards show will air on CTV on Sunday, April 6 from the Pengrowth Saddledome in Calgary Alberta. The show will be hosted by Russell Peters and will feature a star-studded line up of artists who will perform, including Michael Buble, Feist, Finger Eleven, Jann Arden, Anne Murray, Avril Lavigne and Sarah Brightman.
