Weather
The west coast of Canada offers a temperate climate, with warm summers and mild winters, while the Canadian Rockies and the eastern provinces offer a much more dramatic climate, with cold winters perfect for snow-based activities. July, August and September generally offer the finest weather, while other times offer tremendous savings.

In Alberta and British Columbia, temperatures vary significantly depending on location, time of day and season. Summer temperatures range from a low 10°C (50°F) to a high of 30°C (90°F).
Plan to bring a sweater, slacks, and a light topcoat or raincoat, as well as lightweight summer wear. Pack sturdy comfortable shoes, especially if you plan to walk in the mountains. In Spring and Fall, include a light coat or warm jacket if you're travelling to high altitudes.
