A classic route through Canada’s West, featuring two days onboard the Rocky Mountaineer together with a self-drive tour of the mountain resorts of Banff, Jasper, Sun Peaks and Whistler, in addition to the stunning beauty found on Vancouver Island. This 17-day circle trip allows you to view the magnificent areas that the Rocky Mountaineer train journeys through, and also allows you to step out and experience these regions first-hand.
With the freedom of a rental vehicle you will have the opportunity to explore at your own pace and enjoy included activities highlighting each regions unique character. Paddle a canoe on the iconic Emerald Lake, whale-watch in Victoria, zipline through Whistler’s forest and horseback ride in Jasper are only some of the many activities in which to choose from. At the end of you journey return to Vancouver invigorated and enlightened from the experience as to the amazing diversity found in Canada’s West.
