Vice President, Operations

Court first joined Rocky Mountaineer as a Station Manager in Banff and Jasper in 2005, before becoming a Regional Manager in BC and Alberta. After a decade of managing airports, airport operations and product, Court rejoined Rocky Mountaineer in 2019 and is now Vice President, Operations and Chief Safety Officer. 

Highly skilled in operations management, team building, management and customer experience, Court has strategically conceived, led, and implemented major projects including culture change, operational efficiency and integrity, safety, lean management initiatives, and emergency response preparation for both Rocky Mountaineer and Air Canada. 

Throughout his career, Court achieved record passenger experience improvements at Canadian airports, improved throughput, significantly reduced attrition and built scalable, highly trained and cohesive teams. He is most proud of building leadership teams focused on integrity, ethical business practices, and personal and professional development.

Court served as a key organizer for Dreams Take Flight, a charity sending socially, physically, mentally and financially disadvantaged children to Disney World.  He has also volunteered with Raincoast Conservation, the Association of Mountain Park Protection and Enjoyment, and BC Minor Hockey.
