Sherry Tryssenaar

Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer

Sherry joined Rocky Mountaineer in 2021 with more than 25 years of finance and executive management experience working in diverse industries. She was recognized as a Fellow of the Chartered Professional Accountants of British Columbia in 2019. Earlier in her career she was named BC’s CFO of the Year in the Small Public Company Category (2011) and was recognized as one of BC’s Top 40 Under 40 by Business in Vancouver.

Sherry is passionate about giving back to the community and has volunteered her time supporting organizations that empower people to enhance their lives and their leadership. She is currently a director, Treasurer and Chair of Audit Committee for Canadian Sport Institute Pacific. She has previously served as a director and Chair of YWCA Metro Vancouver, Dress for Success Vancouver Society, Women in Capital Markets, and is a co-founder of the Association of Women in Finance.
