Canyonlands National Park

Canyonlands National Park is only a 30 mile (approx. 35 minute) drive from downtown Moab. For a more remote experience, visit the Needles District (and prepare for a longer drive).

Moab Museum
As Moab prospered in the late 1950s, civic leaders decided to establish a museum where locals and visitors could learn about the landscape, earliest life forms, Indigenous peoples, pioneers, and prospectors.
