Rocky Mountaineer is proud to support numerous charitable events, causes and fundraising activities each year as part of our corporate giving efforts. We have a team member-led social purpose council, which informs and guides our approach to supporting meaningful impact in communities and the environment.
For 2020, our team selected two causes to support: reducing hunger in the communities where we work around the world; and protecting wildlife where our train travels in Western Canada. We have partnered with Critter Care Wildlife Society to support the treatment, care and release of sick, injured and orphaned wildlife in British Columbia. Our team contributes to these causes through fundraising, in-kind donations, and volunteer activities.
To honour our team members’ employment anniversaries, we contribute annually to Tree Canada’s National Greening Program. To date, more than 13,500 trees have been planted in BC thanks to our contributions.
In addition, Rocky Mountaineer provides complimentary rail journeys to non-profit organizations to support their fundraising efforts. All requests can be made by completing our donation request form. Due to the large number of submissions we receive, we are unable to respond to all requests. Should we be able to provide a donation to support your fundraising, we will confirm within 30 working days. Thank you in advance for completing the request form.
